CHRIS OSTERFUND: VETERAN ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Chris Osterfund serves as Veteran Engagement Coordinator for Roll Call Chicagoland, bringing a veteran’s perspective, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to community connection. In this role, Chris is often the first personal point of contact for veterans engaging with Roll Call, helping ensure they feel welcomed, informed, and encouraged to participate.
Chris has built a 12-year career in banking and currently works in treasury management at Old National Bank, where he supports clients through complex financial and operational needs. A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1993 to 2001, an experience that continues to shape his sense of service and dedication to supporting fellow veterans.
For nearly three years, Chris has been actively involved with Roll Call Chicagoland, where he found a meaningful platform to network, give back, and strengthen connections within the veteran community. As Veteran Engagement Coordinator, he conducts personal outreach to veterans who register for Roll Call events, helping bridge the gap between registration and attendance. Through these one-to-one conversations, Chris listens to veterans’ stories, answers questions, and offers encouragement—reinforcing that Roll Call is a place where they are valued and supported.
Originally from Wisconsin, Chris is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Outside of work and volunteering, he enjoys archery, competing in USPSA shooting matches, and spending time on his family’s farm in Wisconsin. His dedication to service, both in and out of uniform, continues to guide his commitment to strengthening the Roll Call Chicagoland community.
