NOEL YUCUIS: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Noel Yucuis is a seasoned communications and organizational leader with more than 15 years of experience supporting public-sector transformation, executive messaging, and mission-driven growth. She has served as Executive Director of Roll Call Chicagoland since August 2025, leading the organization through a period of intentional growth focused on deepening impact, strengthening partnerships, and professionalizing programs that support veterans and military spouses across the Chicagoland region.
In her role at Roll Call Chicagoland, Noel has overseen the expansion and formalization of the organization’s mentorship program, strengthened relationships with corporate, municipal, and nonprofit partners, and helped shape programming that blends networking, career development, and community-building. She works closely with volunteer leaders, board members, and sponsors to ensure Roll Call remains accessible, responsive, and grounded in the real needs of the military-connected community it serves.
Prior to her nonprofit leadership work, Noel spent nearly a decade at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, where she held administrative and academic support roles within graduate education and federally funded programs. Across both the university’s Graduate Writing Center and its FEMA-sponsored master’s program for homeland security professionals, she supported military officers, law enforcement leaders, and government executives in developing clear, effective communication for high-stakes academic and professional environments.
Noel is also the founder of Writing Corps, a consultancy providing strategic writing, editing, and communications support to mission-driven leaders and organizations navigating complex policy, research, and operational landscapes.
A military spouse, Noel and her husband raised their two children while navigating years of active-duty service and multiple cross-country moves. Now settled in the Chicagoland area, they are proud to call it home. Noel holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BA in English from Augusta State University. Her work—both professional and personal—is guided by a belief in the power of connection, clarity, and community to help people move forward together.
