OSCAR KUSH: MEDIA DIRECTOR

Oscar Kush is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Chicago-based content creator, as well as the founder of GOATAlert.com. As Media Director for Roll Call Chicagoland, he leads the organization’s visual storytelling efforts, supporting consistent, high-quality media representation across platforms.

Since 2024, Oscar has volunteered with Roll Call Chicagoland, providing photography and media coverage that captures the connections, resources, and opportunities shaping the veteran community. His work plays a key role in amplifying the organization’s mission and extending its reach across the region.

Following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, where he deployed overseas in support of humanitarian missions and trained foreign militaries during Operation Enduring Freedom, Oscar pursued college in California while competing as a mixed martial arts athlete. He later transitioned into the private sector at J. Blanton Plumbing, where he led marketing efforts and developed creative strategies that supported business growth.

In 2020, Oscar served as a Program Manager with Merging Vets and Players (MVP), helping veterans and professional athletes navigate transitions through community and peer support. Today, he focuses on content creation and marketing consulting, helping organizations build strong digital identities and tell compelling stories.

A dedicated father and advocate for the veteran community, Oscar brings a service-oriented mindset to both his professional work and his role at Roll Call Chicagoland.
