We’re kicking things off with a powerful lineup of events designed to inspire, connect, and give back:
Tuesday, Nov. 4 — Networking at PepsiCo (4:30–7:00 p.m.)
Gather with veterans, employers, and community partners for an evening of camaraderie and opportunity.
Thursday, Nov. 6 — Boots to Business Cards Workshop at Discover
A hands-on career development session featuring a Department of Labor–certified trainer and an industry expert panel—empowering veterans and spouses to navigate job fairs and professional networking with confidence.
Monday, Nov. 10 — Fundraiser at Lazy Dog Naperville
Dine in or take out and Lazy Dog will donate a portion of proceeds to Roll Call Chicagoland in honor of our veterans. A simple meal, a meaningful impact.
Tuesday, Nov. 11 — Veterans Day at the Union League Club
We’re proud to celebrate with our partners at Illinois Joining Forces as they host the 2025 Veterans Day event, where the Veteran Business Project will be honored as Veteran Nonprofit of the Year.
All Month Long — Light Up for Vets with Ivy Hall
Throughout November, Ivy Hall dispensaries are supporting Roll Call Chicagoland through their Light Up for Vets campaign—helping raise awareness and funds for our growing veteran community.
Tuesday, Nov. 18 — Informational Webinar on Cannabis & Veteran Well-Being
Join us for an open, educational discussion on cannabis use, research, and responsible access for veterans. Details coming soon!
All of this builds toward our Week of Gratitude—a time to pause, reflect, and give thanks for those who serve and those who continue to serve others.
