Operation SANDTRAP: A Golf Benefit with Grit, Heart, and Purpose

This fall, Roll Call Chicagoland is launching something big.

Not just a fundraiser. Not just a day on the course. But a mission in motion.

Operation SANDTRAP, our first-ever golf benefit, will bring together veterans, supporters, community leaders, and sponsors for an unforgettable event—and a powerful purpose: fueling career-building programs that help veterans thrive long after service.

Why Operation SANDTRAP?

We took inspiration from the Rogue Heroes of WWII—a group of bold, behind-the-lines problem-solvers who did whatever it took to support the mission. That’s the energy of the Roll Call community. We may not all wear the same uniform anymore, but we still show up. We still watch each other’s backs. We still find ways to get the job done.

Operation SANDTRAP is our way of doing just that—with golf clubs in hand and a clear purpose at heart.

Every dollar raised at this event helps Roll Call grow our career-focused offerings:

  • Mentorship and coaching from fellow veterans and industry pros

  • Networking events that connect vets with opportunity

  • Targeted job search support, career development workshops, and more

For every $1,000 raised, we provide critical career support to 20 veterans. That’s real impact. And it starts with this event.
